01 — Plans

Four plans. One set of rules.

Prices include VAT. Speeds are “up to” and shared with the neighbourhood — that is clause 1 of the agreement, not a footnote we buried. There is no data cap; fair use applies.

02 — The rules

The things other ISPs hide in clause 9.

We wrote them on one page and put the same wording here. The subscriber agreement is Form PL-01, Rev 1.1 — ask for a copy before you sign anything.

01

No contract.

Month to month. Leave whenever you like with 30 days’ notice by SMS, WhatsApp or email. No exit fee, no notice-period penalty.

02

No late fees. Ever.

If a payment is late we send a reminder and the service stays on. There is no penalty line on your invoice, because there is no penalty.

03

Five days down, one month free.

If an outage on our network lasts more than five continuous days after you report it, your next month is credited in full.

04

KES 300 to reconnect.

Only after two consecutive months are unpaid and the service has been suspended. Not after one late payment, and not before.

Credit applies once per outage and does not cover scheduled maintenance, power cuts or faults in your own equipment. Full wording in clause 8 of the agreement.

03 — Getting connected

Four steps, about three days.

Most installations happen within two working days of the survey. If your building needs a mast we do not have, we will say so instead of taking a deposit.

Step 01

Check your street

Send the estate and a phone number. We confirm whether your building has line of sight to a mast with capacity.

Step 02

Site survey

A technician visits, usually within two working days, and tells you the speed your building will actually hold. No charge.

Step 03

Installation

Radio, router, cable and mounting, two to three hours. Installation and deposit are paid before activation.

Step 04

Pay by M-Pesa

Each month the prompt comes to your phone and the receipt comes by SMS. Or pay from your account page in two taps.

04 — Coverage

Where we are this month.

Fixed wireless needs a clear path to the mast, so coverage follows buildings, not postcodes. These eight estates have a mast and capacity right now.

On the edge of the list? Ask anyway. We survey the street before we promise the connection.

05 — Paplink

A Mombasa company, not a call centre.

Paplink is the internet business of Odapap Ltd. We build and run fixed wireless links on the island and the north coast, and we keep support close to the technicians who do the work.

The person who answers your call can see your account, the mast you are on, and the last time somebody was at your building. That is why the promises on this page are short: there is no department to escalate to, and no script to read.

06 — Questions

The ones we get on the phone.

Still unanswered? Call 0759 695 025 between 8am and 9pm, any day.

How much is installation?

KES 1,500, paid before activation, plus a refundable deposit confirmed at the survey. The deposit comes back within 30 days of returning the equipment in good order, less any damage or outstanding balance.

What happens if I pay late?

Nothing, for one month. We send a reminder and the internet stays on. If two consecutive months go unpaid the service may be suspended, and KES 300 is charged to reconnect. There is no late fee and no penalty.

What speed will I actually get?

Speeds are “up to” and shared with other subscribers, so they move with distance from the mast, walls, weather and how busy the network is. The survey tells you what your building realistically holds before you pay.

Is there a data cap?

No cap. Data is unlimited for ordinary household use. Fair use applies: no reselling the connection, no running servers for third parties, nothing that degrades the network for your neighbours.

Can I take the connection with me when I move?

Tell us before you move. If the new address has coverage we move the equipment; if it does not, you can end the agreement on 30 days’ notice without a penalty.

Who owns the router?

We do. The radio, router, adapter and mounting stay Paplink property, and we service or replace them when they fail in normal use. Lost, stolen or damaged equipment is charged at our published price list.

How do I complain?

Phone or WhatsApp 0759 695 025, or email paplink@odapap.com. We acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 7 days. If it is still open after 14 days you can escalate in writing to the directors of Odapap Ltd.

Check whether we reach your building.

Send the estate name and we will answer with a yes, a no, or an honest maybe. No deposit until the survey is done.
